Wyoming State Fair in Douglas on Wednesday, August 12, 2020. The 108th annual fair opened this week with additional precautions to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus.

Día de los Muertos, or Day of the Dead, is a vibrant community celebration honoring both los muertos and the beauty of life held annually in the beautiful Yakima Valley.

Summer Solstice Parade and Festival 2009-2018. The annual event is produced by the Fremont Arts Council - an organization that supports the arts and artists in and around the Fremont neighborhood of Seattle. The celebration includes more than sixty community-based ensembles, giant puppets, stilt walkers, floats, and more. All floats in the parade are human powered with no motorized electric or electric vehicles. Also prohibited are any written words or logos, no live animals and no real weapons. The parade ends with the Solstice Celebration at Gas Works Park at its terminus.

The Fremont Arts Council welcomes all to the Luminata Lantern Parade. procession around Green Lake to celebrate the autumnal equinox with illuminated costumes, lanterns and art. The procession begins at the Aqua Theater and ends at the Bathhouse Theater at a secret banquet with art and live music. The annual event held at dusk on the autumnal equinox is produced by the Fremont Arts Council, an organization that supports the arts and artists in and around the Fremont neighborhood of Seattle.
