University of Washington Cherry Trees in Bloom

Seattle, Washington: A young couple walks through the Quad at the University of Washington as the cherry trees reach peak bloom. Initially planted at the Washington Park Arboretum in 1939, the thirty Yoshino cherry trees were moved onto the Liberal Arts Quadrangle in 1962 where they draw visitors from all over the world each spring.
