Seattle, Washington: Fay Scott shops as her friend Paul Burns takes her photo. Amazon Go, Amazon’s high-tech, cashless convenience store opened to the public to crowds and long lines at Amazon's Urban Campus in Belltown. Customers use the Amazon Go app to enter the store, take the products and go without scanning or checking out. Amazon’s complex system of cameras and sensors tracks purchases with a system they refer to as “Just Walk Out Technology”. The store has been open to Amazon employees in a beta version since December 2016.
