Nordic Museum Seattle Grand Opening

Seattle, Washington: A volunteer in native dress walks through the Northern Exposure exhibit during the grand opening celebration of the Nordic Museum. The landmark museum is the largest in the United States to honor the legacy of immigrants from the five Nordic countries: Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, and Sweden. The original location was founded in 1980 in an old elementary school in the Ballard neighborhood.
